The 4 elements - earth, fire, water, air

The energy of the four elements – fire, water, earth and air can be found everywhere in nature and only the harmonic interaction of the elements makes life possible. Theories around the elements can be found not only in all ancient cultures but also deeply rooted in our own culture. We find it particularly in the way we express ourselves.
For instance: A "fire-type" person who is fervent, hot or passionate can be spirited as well as a “hothead”. An “air-type” who likes action or takes off is often called a “light-headed person”. The element earth is “down-to-earth” or deep-rooted and typically represents someone who appreciates the solid way of life. However, a "water-type" is the type of personality which sometimes is calm and sometimes rousing. This person is somebody who is known as sentimental, sensitive and tender-hearted.

The four elements are reflected in many ways in the Hotel Larimar. Apart from the elegantly designed rooms in one of the elements, the restaurant’s interior is chosen accordingly. Special parts of the hotel also reflect one of the elements. The conference rooms, for example, are assigned to the element air to increase the flow of energy and creativity.
