Intermittent alkaline fasting supports a healthy acid-alkaline balance. With the 16/8 intermittent fasting method, three alkaline meals are served within an 8-hour period and 16 hours are spent fasting: 10:00 a.m.: breakfast, 1:00 p.m.: lunch, 5:00 p.m.: dinner.
Consciously avoiding acid-forming foods and luxury foods such as excessive amounts of meat, eggs, fatty dairy products, alcohol, and sweets is naturally balanced out by alkaline foods such as fruit and vegetables, potatoes, and fresh herbs. Conditions such as gout, rheumatism, constipation, heartburn, fatigue, and many more can be improved.
