- the Koi pond with more than 40 different kois to observe. These special carps can weigh up to 20 kg and be one meter long. During the guided feeding (twice a week) you can see the fish up close and learn interesting facts about the keeping and the care.
Family friendly accomodations
In our „Kaminstube“, a relaxing sitting area with a couch, armchairs and a coffee table, you are invited you to chat, laugh and play together.
At the wellness hotel Larimar, families with children relax in the generous comfort suite with 48 m² with a big living and bedroom area and a separate bedroom – an accomodation with enough space to unwind. A wonderful view of the landscape spreads out in front of you when you soak up the fresh air on the balcony.
The comfortable double rooms panorama view and on the westside (32 m²) invite you to relax with a double bed and couch or two separate beds with armchairs.
For our youngest guests
Our youngest guests slumber in delightful wooden cribs in pink or blue, to sweeten their dreams.
Changing mats are available for the rooms on request. With the baby phone, a relaxed dance evening at the hotel bar is a pure enjoyment for the parents.
In the Larimar, children are spoiled with culinary delights either with their own buffet or their own à la carte menu. While the parents enjoy their 6 course gourmet menu the kids are entertained with coloring books.
Our kitchen team also creates a special and healthy meal for babies. Our youngest guests enjoy their food in the new and comfortable table seat in the Larimar gourmet restaurant together with their family.

The high rope course „Stegerspark“ promises wonderful climbing expierences with fun and thrills right in Stegersbach. The 8.000 m² big area attracts with a total of more than 30 stations with different levels of difficulty, that are up to 20 meters high. 4 different parcours, a flying fox parcour and slacklines promise an exiting climbing experience in Stegersbach.
At the animal park Herberstein you can see more than 130 different animals.
Beautiful hiking trails guarantee great experiences in the southern Burgenland.
From our hotel you can reach numerous excursion destinations with your car. In only 10 minutes you can reach the Lake Rauchwart. All year round this idyllic paradise invites you to hike, bike, run and fish. In the summertime the bathing lake offers different options to bath, swim or surf for your vacation with kids.
While cycling the surrounding area can be explored on numerous routes. Bicycles and e-bikes can be rented at the hotel.
