The Larimar, also known as „atlantis stone“, is also considered as the blue jewel of the caribbean.
As the only known site of the find is in the Dominican Republic, the „Larimar“ was declared the national stone of the island state. Its fine and cloudy grain gives the pectolite a soft and gentle appearance. The Larimar counts to one of the finest minerals, its color spectrum ranges from blue to light blue to turquoise blue to greenish and whitish tones.
