An exquisite selection of wine specialties awaits you at the Larimar vinotheque. Noble wines from local regions as well as world famous areas are stored in our shelves. Particularly sustainably produced wines can be found here.
Enjoy the new Larimar vinotheque and experience wine tastings as well as degustations in an even more precious ambience: new colors and a special lighting impressively and perfectly showcase every individual wine. Specialities are found in our new delicacy market, stocked with a lot of regional goodies, to browse and shop. Wines in more than 120 different variations from the regions all around the world, among them more than 85 % organic wines, are waiting to inspire your taste buds.
Our sommeliers will gladly help you to find the perfect wine to your vitality menu. All the wines can of course be purchased as well.
Wine and specialties in our new Larimar vinotheque
A selection from Austrian first class wines as well as a lot of local specialties and goodies from the southern Burgenland are waiting for demanding gourmets. The most important and best Austrian wine-growing areas are represented in our own wine store. Exquisite sweet wines, sparkling wines and champagne complete the unique offer.
With more than 120 wines your are spoiled for the choice. That is why our competent sommeliers will help you to find the ideal wine for your meal. We will also gladly serve you your favourite wine at the hotel bar.
Due to the optimal storage at drinking temperature the white, red and rosé wines are perfectly tempered for wine enjoyment.
Wine tasting with local winemakers
Enjoy authentic wine culture from the Burgenland.
Wine tastings with local wine makers take place regulary in the Larimar. This way you have the opportunity to taste exquisite local wines and regional specialties like the „Uhudler". This wine is characterized by its taste of wild strawberries and reminds in appearance of a rosé wine. Enjoy the Uhudler as an aperitif or toast your vacation with a drink in the evening.
Top wines from the Hotel Larimar
Special wines were created in cooperation between hotelier Johann Haberl and well known winemakers from the region.
Larimar Red Reservie 2017 is a varietal Blaufränkisch from the winery Kopfensteiner in Deutsch Schützen / southern Burgenland. This reflects the typicality of viticulture in southern Burgenland. Valuable larimar stones were used to invigorate and energize this Cuvée.
Furthermore, the Larimar White 2019 was produced in cooperation with the vineyard Höfler from Gschmaier in Styria. The Larimar White is a Cuvée from Welschriesling, Muskateller and Chardonnay. This wine speciality was also revitalized for 21 days with the energy of the larimar stones.
With the enjoyment of a glass of exclusive Larimar wines you can bring a piece of vacation feeling from Stegersbach back home. Our Larimar wines are also ideal as souvenirs.
Larimar sparkling wine
The special larimar sparkling wine is produced by the sparkling winery Szigeti. They stand for inventiveness and quality sparkling wine based on the classic french champagne method. Larimar host Johann Haberl had the idea of not only energizing water and wine with the larimar stone, but also sparkling wine. The result is the Larimar sparkling wine, a sparkling experience, that was harmonized for 21 days with the energy of the larimar stone.
Our Larimar Sparkling wine is available as 0,7 l or 0,2 l piccolo.
