How does Ayurveda work?

During an Ayurvedic pulse analysis and a health counsel, the Indian Vaidyas (Ayurveda doctors) determine the individual characteristics of the Doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Vata is about movement, the biological cycle and digestion, Pitta is the principle of metabolism and Kapha is the principle of structure. Depending on the type, the healthy Ayurvedic nutrition and the beneficial Ayurveda treatments can be matched to the patient.
